Listen to your heart. It will always lead you to the Truth.

I fell in love with yoga quickly after attending my first class in 2014. Within a year I was enrolled in teacher training, not necessarily to teach but to deepen my practice, experience, and knowledge. Although challenging, it didn’t take me long to realize that I loved teaching yoga almost as much as practicing it.  

I received my 200-hour certification from the Pranakriya School of Yoga Healing Arts. I teach yoga with a strong emphasis on the breath and going inside oneself to find a connection between movement (or stillness) and the breath. You can expect meditation in my classes.

I have come back to my practice again and again to be reminded of – and inspired by – the connection between my Self and the Universe. I desire to lead others into these experiences, helping each person to realize they are on their own path, and allowing them to find their own connection and inspiring inner world.

It’s hard to put into words how this practice has changed me and become a part of my life. I have felt more spirituality and connection while practicing and meditating than any other time in my life. I am grateful for the lessons I learn on the mat that I take with me into life – simple changes in perspective, learning to respond instead of react, witnessing life,  s l o w i n g  d o w n, and acknowledging the power of breath. I come back to learn more and to dive deeper into my Self with each practice.
