I practice Yoga to dive deeper into my Self.
I fell in love with Yoga quickly after attending my first class in 2014. Within a year I was enrolled in teacher training to deepen my practice, experience, and knowledge. It was challenging and deeply rewarding, and it didn’t take me long to realize that I loved teaching Yoga almost as much as practicing it. In 2016 I began studying Thai yoga bodywork. Initially I hoped this would increase my knowledge of anatomy and help me become more confident with hands-on adjusting in my classes. As I practice this modality with more people, I find that I love creating the experience of safe space, relaxation, and healing for my client. Every body deserves to experience loving touch and every mind needs rest and relaxation.
It can be hard to put into words how this practice has changed me. My life doesn't exist without Yoga. I have found more connection, meaning, inspiration, family, joy, love, and Truth since I started practicing and living Yoga. I am grateful for the lessons I learn on the mat that I take with me into life... simple changes in perspective, s l o w i n g d o w n, and acknowledging the power of breath and love.
I come back to my practice regularly to be reminded of – and inspired by – the connection between my life and all that is. I desire to guide others into the realization that while we are on our own paths, we can find connection, inspiration, and joy through Yoga.
I received my 200-hour certification from the Pranakriya School of Yoga Healing Arts.
